The Shiga Factory is a production factory for temperature measurement, component detection and analysis sample collection of molten metal. The production management system utilizing Kawaso-developed facility is the first to receive ISO9001 certification in the probe industry.
Based on high quality management, Kawaso is providing Probes not only in Japan, but also globally, such as in countries throughout Asia, Europe, South America and Australia.
The Kyoto Factory, as a sister factory of Shiga Factory, manufactures Probes by using the most advanced equipment, which is essential in iron and steel making operations.
It was newly established in 2011 as a part of BCP (Business Continuity Plan) to meet increasing demand. In the Kyoto Factory, sensor units of measuring various components are mainly manufactured. And then, such units are finished to straight type Sub-lance Probe for a converter.
The Kyoto Factory is providing thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors, etc. A wide variety of temperature measurement methods, as required in various industrial fields, is available.
Multiple product and small lot production are carried out based on established processing technology, from machining to assembling process on quality management system, ISO9001 certification.
With the factories located in Shiga and Kyoto, our measurement sensors are used in extremely high-temperature environments, and are expected to offer highly accurate and stable measurement results.
Because of this, Kawaso’s manufacturing system incorporates the strict accuracy control and advanced-level production technology to guarantee stable measurement results, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
